On the boat, our crew will point out the local modern and historical highlights as we travel around the island.  The commentary is both fun and informative. Some of the stories may even be true!

St Maarten boasts 37 beautiful beaches, various coral reefs, wrecks and interesting landmarks. Our snorkeling adventure tour itinerary varies according to the prevailing weather and sea conditions but here are some of the sites we visit on a regular basis…

Creole Rock

Located within the National Marine Park of St Martin, off the point near Grand Case. This small rocky islet resembles the head of an Amerindian when viewed from the northern side. The rock itself is a designated bird sanctuary where you will see local brown pelicans and Brown Boobies. The surrounding coral reef hosts a large and varied population of Caribbean Reef fish, rays, cephalopods and hard and soft corals. It is a popular spot with both snorkelers and scuba divers.

Tintamare Island

Covering about 100 hectares (or 0.4 miles), this small island lies about 4 km off the northern coast of St Martin. It is now a designated National Park but has had an interesting history. Today, it is a favorite of tourists and locals alike.  The main attraction here is the population of Green Sea Turtles that graze the sea grass off the southern beach where the water is shallow, warm and well protected.

Pinel Island

A tiny “day island” within Orient Bay, Pinel is accessible only by boat and is popular with locals. The island hosts 2 restaurants and a small gift/craft shop. A popular attraction on the island is the large number of well fed Iguanas that make their home in the rocks and vegetation. With a piece of fruit or lettuce in hand, you’ll get up close and personal with these pre-historic looking beasts. After doing a little island exploration, you can relax in the shallow, warm water with a beer or rum punch or ice cream in hand by the boat or get a little color sunbathing on the beach.

Little/Divi Bay

Adjacent to Great Bay, lies Little Bay with its blue and turquoise, protected waters. On the northern side of the bay, on the sea bed lie a number of small wrecks and a small underwater trail.  You can see a helicopter, submarine, cannons and a couple of sunken yachts. These all lie in about 15 feet of water and are inhabited by a large number of colorful reef fish.

Maho Beach

The famous beach located right at the end of the runway of Princess Julianna Airport. Commercial aircraft fly right overhead so low you’ll feel you can reach out and touch them. Swim in the beautiful crystal clear water or lay back and watch the action overhead.

Long Bay, Red Bay, Friars Bay, Happy Bay and many more!

No experience necessary! We cater to all levels of experience. Even if you can’t swim we’ve got your back. We have all the gear you need to get snorkeling including additional flotation devices. If you can get into a bathtub, you can snorkel. All of the areas we visit are largely protected with little swell or current. Water depths are relatively shallow. While you don’t have to be an Olympic athlete for our tour, we do recommend that you have some basic degree of fitness.

Your Snorkeling and Adventure Tour also includes lunch at a Grand Case restaurant, snacks and beverages throughout the day.  We have an all day open bar with water, sodas, beer and rum punch to quench your thirst.
