‍There are two hospitals in St. Maarten/St. Martin, one on the French side in Marigot that can be reached at (590) 590 29 57 55 or the hospital situated on the Dutch side in Cay Hill which may be reached at (599) 543 1111. It is best to find out where your hotel is and ask the hotel staff which hospital is closest to you. There are many pharmacies on the island and smaller private medical clinics.‍

Safety

‍The same rules apply to St. Maarten/St. Martin like anywhere else you are unfamiliar with, stay within areas that are properly lit and where there is a lot of activity. Leave your passport at the hotel but make sure that you do have a photocopy with you at all times. When visiting, avoid carrying large amounts of money, jewelry or electronics around. St. Maarten/St. Martin is a very busy island, therefore, always lock your car when away from it and don’t leave valuables inside especially when visiting the beach.
