The beach is often windy and therefore very cool which is often a nice change to the other very hot beaches on the Leeward side of St. Maarten / St. Martin.Most of the beach is protected by a reef which can be an interesting snorkel on calm days.From Dawn Beach, you have a nice view of St. Barth’s and the many other reefs and rocks out at sea.
